Smoothie Friday!

Just barely I made one of the best smoothies ever!! It's so good... I'm enjoying it right now:) I attempted to follow a recipe I found online, but that plan failed. The blender was all loaded up with a frozen and liquid mixture, as I went to find the lid, the milk spilled out the bottom! I still don't know where the heck it was coming from, all I know is that it wasn't in the blender thing anymore, it was on the table... But I couldn't find the lid anyway so I guess that was okay. My next great plan was to put it in the device my mother uses to make salsa. haha that was an adventure! The blade part needs to be intact before the ingredients go in the container, just so you know, it might save you a step. I finally got in blended and it is so delicious!

This is the recipe, sorta:

Strawberry Peachy Smoothie:
What you need:
1-1/2 cups fat-free milk
1 container  (6 oz.) vanilla low-fat yogurt
1-1/2 tsp. CRYSTAL LIGHT Raspberry Ice Flavor Drink Mix* (or any other flavor also works)
1 cup  frozen sliced peaches
1 cup frozen strawberries

Make it:
Blend all ingredients until smooth

See? Easy right? :) I used assorted frozen fruit and peach Crystal Light though.

Thursday... Again!

I do love working every Thursday:) I do the marquee- that's where I, along with Chance and Deanna, change all of the movies, times and posters at the movie theaters. It is so fun! We always have such a blast. Every Thursday... :)
Oh! My life just gets better and better:)

Thursday :)

Today as I was looking on my facebook page... I found the most glorious picture of a very VERY attractive man: Chris Hemsworth :)

Oh baby! I can't get over how handsome he is!! He is Thor in the movie 'Thor' :) Too bad he's married... But he's from AUSTRALIA!! No wonder I love him! I have a thing for Australian men...

Tuesday

First of all, tonight must have been the night to walk down the street. I don't think anybody knew this but sidewalks still exist even when it's dark. In fact, they are very much recommended. I definitely suggest walking on the sidewalk, especially if it is night outside! For goodness sakes, people, use the sidewalk so I don't fret as I come around the corner to find some person walking inches away from death by a car!
Okay, now, that is the end of my rampage.
I don't know why people all of a sudden feel to put inspiring quotes as their status but I sure do love it... like this one:
"People were created to be loved. Things were created to be used. The reason the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and people are being used." ~Unknown

That unknown character really seems to write the most inspiring things!! :) haha... but seriously, wasn't that a good one?

Well, now I'm gonna start homework... Bye!

Title:

Okay, so why is that boys have to be so confusing? The second I start to like someone, even a little bit, I find out they have a girlfriend! What is that about? I think it should be a rule... If your dating someone, don't flirt with someone else!! You might think this is commonsense, but apparently not!
Anyway, I think I'm beginning to love college!! Ha. Well, things like 11 am class, taking photos for an assignment, and hanging with my new friends Malorie and Krystal, might have something to do with it! Oh, and I can't forget that boys seem to be more attractive ;) Like the boy that sits by me in History. Mmmm...
Today in history class, I get there early for the first time in like three weeks and happen to sit by this really cute boy named Zack. I was nice and let him copy my notes because he didn't seem to be able to copy them off the professor's power point fast enough. I just hope I can sit by him next time too. Maybe this time I'll introduce myself! :)
There was a wonderful quote of my face book page that just really makes a whole lot of sense...
"Learn to let go of the things that make you sad, because if its really meant for you, you shouldn't be hurting in the first place." Thank you to whomever thought up that one! :)

Tyler Ward!! :)

On Tuesday, I was super bummed because Tyler Ward is coming to campus on Friday and I couldn't go, I had to work. You like how I put 'had'? Ha it's because I don't have to work anymore!! Yeah! Chance traded shifts with me. Thank you so much Chance!! Ever since I saw the poster about the Tyler Ward concert, I had to go! He sang with CODY SIMPSON!!! (AKA my future husband) I have to go! I've been freaking excited for like a whole week:) I can't wait!! Not to mention, the traditional "True T-bird" night is that night;) haha lots of men are gonna be there! Homecoming week is a blast! I got sweet shirts!! Woot woot!

People watching....Yep, I'm a people-watcher

So there is a really funny story...
Okay, the other day I was driving in the truck and I came to a stop at a red light. I was in the left turning lane. Anyway, so this woman is walking down the street and she uses the crosswalk that passes right in front of me... (Refer to picture below) She passes in front of me and  she's wearing what looks to be workout clothing, green yoga-type pants and a weird tight-fitting shirt, right when she is about to step on the sidewalk, she PICKS HER WEDGIE!!!! Right there on main street! It was SUPER strange! I couldn't help but laugh because she wasn't trying to be discreet about it AT ALL, it was almost an over-exaggeration to the extreme!

=======================                   Symbols
        &                                                                         #: is the truck
=======================                 &: a woman
I        I         I   #    I         I         I                          I:  Street lines
I        I         I   #    I         I         I                          =: crosswalk
I        I         I         I         I         I
I        I         I         I         I         I

Haha... Well it killed me all day long and every time I thought about it, I laughed my head off!!! It was so funny!

Smile!

I had a very enjoyable Sunday. It started out at the mission farewell of my friend Erik. He's going to Germany, where in fact he will be speaking German. It's so fun to see my friend's leave for missions. Yes, it is sad to say goodbye but  I know that they are doing something wonderful and that it brings many blessings for all those involved. Afterwards, my friends and I went to Ally's house to make cookies. I love cookies! It was so much fun to be with them because I haven't really hung out with them since I graduated. We made the cookies and ate them and then it was time to go to Erik's house because he invited us to come to a farewell dinner thing. We decided to walk there and at the time, we didn't think it was going to be that far... it was like a whole mile! Not to mention it was windy and cold... It was still fun because we got to just be with each other. At Erik's, there was so much yummy food! There were soo many people that came. It was crazy! The entire school was there supporting him! My friend Tina was in town this weekend too. It was so good to see her! She's like my best friend and I haven't seen her for two months!
Needless to say that I have amazing friends and I'm happy of the wonderful example they set for me!
I'm sitting on my porch right now and I'm beginning to rethink that idea because it is soo cold! It has been raining all day long and this is the coldest weather we've had here in a long time!
If anyone has ever seen "Waiting for Forever" its like the saddest movie of all time. I was thinking it was going to be a cute little romance that would make me feel so happy about life but that was not the case... It was sad, but it was also good in some weird way. I like romance-y things but lately they haven't been very up-lifting! It's a pity too because I always used to think that my life was going to turn out to be some amazing 'Happily Ever After' moment and it's starting to become real to me that the way Disney Princess's live their lives doesn't actually happen... As much as I would like to think, I can't have little forest animals clean my house while we sing a catchy tune or have them frolic with me through large fields of flowers. And the saddest part of all is that my prince won't be coming for me on a beautiful white horse... :( I'm sorry if whoever reads this still thinks it will happen for them one day, but if you want, you can still go on thinking that! Even though it might never happen for me that way, I still love to sing the songs that help me think that it might. 'Someday my prince will come...' 'I'm wishing, for the one I love, to find me, today!' I can't help but sing the songs... They really are catchy! It the movie I just watched, one of the characters said, 'Life isn't a bowl of cherries, everything doesn't turn out just peachy.' I still hope that it does! :)

Happy Labor Day!!

I know that it is not quite Labor Day but I was just too excited to wait any longer! I love any holiday that allows us to have a break from school and look at that! This one does! Yay! No school tomorrow :) So, instead, my family is going to our cabin on the mountain. I love it up there. It's so relaxing and peaceful. It's nice to just step away from the whole world and while I'm there, nothing else matters. I love that feeling because here, in town, there is so much to think about; did I get my homework done? why is nothing happening this weekend? why are boys stupid? do I have to work today? None of that dumb stuff bothers me when I'm at my cabin. My life right now just feels kinda stressful. Some people are being extremely stupid and I totally thought they were out of my life, but somehow they always creep back into it and it's beginning to be ridiculous! I'm sorry, I really try to see the good in people :) Sometimes I just get on these horrible rampages and  most of the time I can't stop myself...
I do so much enjoy my life! School has gotten better, I now have some friends in my classes and I can recognize more of them. Work is wonderful and I don't feel like I'm living at the movie theater anymore. I played the piano fairly well in Sacrament today and I sat next to a VERY attractive man... :) Life is great!

Sunday Afternoon

Collette, my little sister is sitting next to me right now and it's really getting hard to be sneaky about her surprise! Little does she know I haven't decided how to surprise her. Also, I really don't think there will BE a surprise, except for the one I've already got planned... hehe she's freaking out! I love to freak her out. She thinks its going to be some huge thing at her school, like hang up posters of her around the hallway. Why would I do that? I always thought that was a little ridiculous to hang up posters for something as small as a 16th birthday! There is nothing cool about turning 16. Just because there might be boys that flock to our doorway in hopes of getting the opportunity to date such a babe.... doesn't mean that she can actually go with them! Boys are stupid and most of them probably won't even pass the test I have written up for them to take before they are allowed to leave the house with my little sister. Idiots! haha Thursday is gonna be an early one. I've got to get lots of stuff done before Collette can even set foot in her school. My friends might also be helping me with this little 'surprise' that may or may not actually happen if Collette doesn't stop being all difficult! If she asks one more time what the'surprise' is, I'm cancelling the party I've planned. So everyone that is coming needs to tell her to just CALM THE FREAK DOWN!!!! haha now she's using words like 'carp'. What the heck Collette!!!
Okay, she's not sitting by me anymore. There really isn't a party. Sorry to all those that were happy about that... Also, I am hanging up posters :) Wish me luck!!

stumbleupon.com

My friend Ashley recommended to me, last night, a website to look up and stuff. It's called stumbleupon.com. It's pretty awesome! I've found some sweet things on it so far... A guy spray-painting a SPECTACULAR image, some cool pictures of Europe, a website totally devoted to little kids saying what love means  (Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt and he wears it everyday, Noelle age 7), and a music playlist entitled: "Songs to lie on your bed and stare at the ceiling to" and they aren't bad songs!

Man! Is it late!!

Oh boy, I just got off work and it was THE best day of work ever! Those people I work with are so fun. Even though I started out my night with a flat tire that needed some fixing and being called into work because one of the girls was sick, it still turned out wonderful. Now I admit that some of the things I did tonight weren't very spectacular or on the list of things I want to do again... it was still enjoyable. I'll share some stories about what really went down at work today....
#1 I get to work and there is a sign for me saying that for a "weekly" I needed to help Ashley clean the grease-trap. Okay many people don't know what that is so I'll explain. It's a big box that acts as a strainer for everything that goes down the drains of the sinks. I had to teach Ashley how because she's never done it before. We were about done and Cassidy poured water into the sink causing the thing to fill up again so we had to do it twice! Ugh. The whole time doing this, we were both contemplating the importance of oxygen because of the fact that the grease-trap smells absolutely awful! It's not pleasant AT ALL!!!
#2 My second weekly of the night was to put up the clear, plastic things that hold those informational papers that are on the stall in front of you where you are using the restroom. It wouldn't have been as bad if I got to do it in the girls bathroom. That's right, I had to put them up in the BOYS bathroom. I cautiously walk in there and start scrapping the previous sticky stuff off the walls by the urinals... (Those things are sooooo gross!!!) I'm standing in front of one and a man walks into the bathroom. He looks at me and says, "oh sorry, I don't want to interrupt you while you do.... whatever it is your doing in the men's restroom." I just told him sorry and that I was leaving... It was AWKWARD! It kinda continued on  like this for three more times and it took forever! Finally Sara came in to help me and as we were finishing up the last one, some boy walks in and looks at both of us as were leaving the bathroom, he says, "wow, awkward much?" What the heck does that mean?! Well since we were done, I crossed that off of somethings that I only wanted to do one time, EVER!
#3 My third weekly was to drive some cleaning supplies and papers to Fiddlers 6. Driving weekly's are my favorite! You get paid to sit in your car and listen to music! How COOL is that?! Well I'm driving down Main Street and there is a huge semi truck just chillin' on the side of the road with almost the whole front end of the truck is sticking out onto the road, in the EXACT lane I was driving in. Well, obviously I needed to get out of that lane. I would've but a truck was on the other side of me. So I did something extremely scary... I gunned it in the hope that I could make the swerve around the semi without hitting the truck. I did it... BARELY! The truck didn't even slow down to let me get passed the semi so I almost died!! But John, one of the managers, told me that if I were to get injured Westates would have to cover the whole thing...
#4 The last hour and a half I was working, Sara and Ashley were helping me learn many new things... (haha, had to be there for that one). Those two girls are my favorite!
#5 Clarissa and I talked in the parking lot after work for like 30 minutes and it was so great! She's super sweet and it really means a whole lot to me that she trusts me with stuff she tells me. Also we made plans to go to lunch on Tuesday and I'm really excited because we're going to the Thunderbird Cafe which is like the school cafeteria at the college. I haven't ever been inside but I've passed it a million times walking to class and stuff.
Haha. Okay that's all! I'm going to bed... Bye!
