Movie Night + the rest of the day:)

It's Saturday... and guess how I spent my lovely afternoon? Yep, that is correct! Working and attending staff meeting... Fun, right? Not exactly! ha but I also did some fun things:
~ I went to Denny's and had my second breakfast of the day with some of the most entertaining people I know!
~ Me and my sister, Erin went to get popcorn at the theater, twenty minutes after I got off work. Then she wouldn't believe me that Enoch was actually accessible without the traveling on the freeway... we even took a field trip to the wonderful city of Enoch! Spectacular.
~ Mom, Collette, Erin and I watched our favorite movie: 'Despicable Me' :) That movie is hilarious! Best movie of all time and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen it... the funny parts are STILL super funny!! Even if it is the 297th time watching that movie... haha. Although mom and I were the only ones to actually watch the whole thing (the other two fell asleep, absolutely a pity) it was still a wonderful night.
~ The last thing I got to do today was make a little message that I could put with the treat my visiting teaching partner is making. The saying is from President Uchtdorf's talk from the Relief Society broadcast. It says, “Our journey toward perfection is long, but we can find wonder and delight in even the tiniest steps in that journey.”
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Isn't it so great!? I love this quote and I hope the sister in my ward does too!

"I get a little bit stronger..."

As you may have noticed, I'm listening to music. The title of this post is the the title of one of my most favorite songs. "A Little Bit Stronger" by Sara Evans :) Oh I love how music calms me and makes me feel absolutely wonderful!
Well, yesterday, I had the opportunity to read my cousin Jeff's blog. He's on his mission in Madagascar and I didn't get to attend his farewell... But now I can see all these pictures and hear all about his mission. If I chose to go on a mission I would definitely continue my blog so everyone could follow it and know I was still alive.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, Malorie, Molly, sometimes Krystal, and I go to the library to study. It is so much fun! I never thought that spending an entire afternoon in the library could be so awesome! Those girls are my favorite and such a hoot!
So for the past three Wednesdays I've been going to a Square Dancing club. Oh I love it! There is mostly elderly people that go, actually all of them are older that 60, but it is still so much fun! The people are wonderful and I always love being there even if the person I bring bugs me...

Sunday Afternoon

Collette, my little sister is sitting next to me right now and it's really getting hard to be sneaky about her surprise! Little does she know I haven't decided how to surprise her. Also, I really don't think there will BE a surprise, except for the one I've already got planned... hehe she's freaking out! I love to freak her out. She thinks its going to be some huge thing at her school, like hang up posters of her around the hallway. Why would I do that? I always thought that was a little ridiculous to hang up posters for something as small as a 16th birthday! There is nothing cool about turning 16. Just because there might be boys that flock to our doorway in hopes of getting the opportunity to date such a babe.... doesn't mean that she can actually go with them! Boys are stupid and most of them probably won't even pass the test I have written up for them to take before they are allowed to leave the house with my little sister. Idiots! haha Thursday is gonna be an early one. I've got to get lots of stuff done before Collette can even set foot in her school. My friends might also be helping me with this little 'surprise' that may or may not actually happen if Collette doesn't stop being all difficult! If she asks one more time what the'surprise' is, I'm cancelling the party I've planned. So everyone that is coming needs to tell her to just CALM THE FREAK DOWN!!!! haha now she's using words like 'carp'. What the heck Collette!!!
Okay, she's not sitting by me anymore. There really isn't a party. Sorry to all those that were happy about that... Also, I am hanging up posters :) Wish me luck!!

Families are forever :)

I just got home from a lovely funeral service for my Grandmother Smith. She was such a wonderful lady and I am so happy that I was able to know her and spend time with her. Everyone at the service had really nice things to say about my dear grandmother. I knew there were going to be lots of people at the viewing but I didn't realize there were going to be THAT many people! The line to see her wrapped clear around the building...
It was really good to see all the cousins, too, despite the day's events. It's been awhile since we have gotten together. The Henries are staying at my house as well as my Grandma Barclay :)
Grandma Smith always told me that family is one of the greatest gifts our Father in Heaven has given to us. I'm so blessed to have my family and I'm happy that I will be able to be together forever! :)
