Movie Night + the rest of the day:)

It's Saturday... and guess how I spent my lovely afternoon? Yep, that is correct! Working and attending staff meeting... Fun, right? Not exactly! ha but I also did some fun things:
~ I went to Denny's and had my second breakfast of the day with some of the most entertaining people I know!
~ Me and my sister, Erin went to get popcorn at the theater, twenty minutes after I got off work. Then she wouldn't believe me that Enoch was actually accessible without the traveling on the freeway... we even took a field trip to the wonderful city of Enoch! Spectacular.
~ Mom, Collette, Erin and I watched our favorite movie: 'Despicable Me' :) That movie is hilarious! Best movie of all time and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen it... the funny parts are STILL super funny!! Even if it is the 297th time watching that movie... haha. Although mom and I were the only ones to actually watch the whole thing (the other two fell asleep, absolutely a pity) it was still a wonderful night.
~ The last thing I got to do today was make a little message that I could put with the treat my visiting teaching partner is making. The saying is from President Uchtdorf's talk from the Relief Society broadcast. It says, “Our journey toward perfection is long, but we can find wonder and delight in even the tiniest steps in that journey.”
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Isn't it so great!? I love this quote and I hope the sister in my ward does too!

Um... yep, that is the answer

I haven't blogged in a very long time and maybe 2 in the morning isn't a good time but oh well! There are many stories that I have just been holding in and I think it may be about time I share them...
#1:  On the 26th of September, I went to help set up a Spook Alley type deal at the old hospital. That place is freaking weird! I hated every second I was there. It isn't clean or safe and there is nasty stuff everywhere! It's gross. Anyway, it was me, Clarissa, a girl named Olivia, Dane, and two people I think I met once; a boy and a girl, they both looked like real winners. We were covering all the windows with black plastic to make it dark and what not. I was in charge of handing the boy and Olivia duck tape to hang up the plastic, it was very simple and that is my expertise. Well, the boy would stretch his arm up and every time he did I had to look away. I learned this because the first time he reached up, I noticed he had a huge hole in his underwear, right where his bum crack was... Yep, it was disgusting! I didn't know him well enough to say, "DUDE. That is sick!" So I just looked away. Gag!
#2:  The next day, I was working and these two boys came in. Every time they come, they get themselves a extra-large diet pepsi, no ice. I got one then handed it to him and after he paid, he said I was very nice and that we should go out some time. He then went on to say that if the date went well we could eventually share his last name. Funny right? I get hit on and proposed to in the same shift!
#3: Final story of today... So yesterday, it was Ladies Night at Deseret Book and so me and my mother decided to go. I thought it was just gonna be like every other night at the book store but boy, was I wrong! They had prizes and cookies and fabulous truffles and 20% off of everything in the store. It was kinda a big deal. There were ladies out the wazoo! I was shocked when we walked in to look at the sea of women. I had to squeeze my body around every bookshelf just to get anywhere! It was utter chaos but it was also a very wonderful night! I ended up spending $40 on a book, "A Modest Proposal", a journal and my very own Hymn book :)
Well that's all... Oh, I might end up going to the football in California: SUU vs. Cal Poly :) Super excited!!

The 29th day of August

Oh, I have completed 6 whole days of school! Quite an exciting accomplishment if you ask me. It's so wonderful having my first class of the day be at 11 am. :)

The End.

P.S. President Thomas S. Monson was in Cedar City today!! :)

Families are forever :)

I just got home from a lovely funeral service for my Grandmother Smith. She was such a wonderful lady and I am so happy that I was able to know her and spend time with her. Everyone at the service had really nice things to say about my dear grandmother. I knew there were going to be lots of people at the viewing but I didn't realize there were going to be THAT many people! The line to see her wrapped clear around the building...
It was really good to see all the cousins, too, despite the day's events. It's been awhile since we have gotten together. The Henries are staying at my house as well as my Grandma Barclay :)
Grandma Smith always told me that family is one of the greatest gifts our Father in Heaven has given to us. I'm so blessed to have my family and I'm happy that I will be able to be together forever! :)
