Happier notes:)

I hate when I realize that I have homework due... at midnight... then it closes and says LATE, in giant red letters. Yep, not very fun. I have come to realize that it is totally better to not do bad on assignments then it is to just do the dumb work in the first place.

Anyway, on a happier note, I have just finished watching some episodes of Kidhistory and it is so freakin funny! I love those kids! I hope I can one day, have children as cute as they are! What a fun idea to film them telling stories then having the dads act out their stories... :) Whoever thought of that should be classified as 'Genius'!

I am totally loving my life! I know that sounds cliche and all but I do. It's so fun! My job is great, and so are the people I work with. It's nice to be excited to go to work and hang out with all your friends. Every Thursday I change the marquee at the theaters with the help of Chance and Deanna. Those two have become two of my very best friends. School is going... alright. I just wish I could sign up for classes next semester!! Dumb RAC number necessity... I am not going to get into any awesome classes or the classes I need! Oh well, I suppose. I can't do anything about that one:\ I might be getting another job:) Which is fabulous because I know that money may not buy happiness but it can sure get you close. Being poor doesn't get you anywhere near anything!! I'm also looking into another one on top of that so that equals two other jobs!! Woot!

The end.

"I get a little bit stronger..."

As you may have noticed, I'm listening to music. The title of this post is the the title of one of my most favorite songs. "A Little Bit Stronger" by Sara Evans :) Oh I love how music calms me and makes me feel absolutely wonderful!
Well, yesterday, I had the opportunity to read my cousin Jeff's blog. He's on his mission in Madagascar and I didn't get to attend his farewell... But now I can see all these pictures and hear all about his mission. If I chose to go on a mission I would definitely continue my blog so everyone could follow it and know I was still alive.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, Malorie, Molly, sometimes Krystal, and I go to the library to study. It is so much fun! I never thought that spending an entire afternoon in the library could be so awesome! Those girls are my favorite and such a hoot!
So for the past three Wednesdays I've been going to a Square Dancing club. Oh I love it! There is mostly elderly people that go, actually all of them are older that 60, but it is still so much fun! The people are wonderful and I always love being there even if the person I bring bugs me...

Smile!

I had a very enjoyable Sunday. It started out at the mission farewell of my friend Erik. He's going to Germany, where in fact he will be speaking German. It's so fun to see my friend's leave for missions. Yes, it is sad to say goodbye but  I know that they are doing something wonderful and that it brings many blessings for all those involved. Afterwards, my friends and I went to Ally's house to make cookies. I love cookies! It was so much fun to be with them because I haven't really hung out with them since I graduated. We made the cookies and ate them and then it was time to go to Erik's house because he invited us to come to a farewell dinner thing. We decided to walk there and at the time, we didn't think it was going to be that far... it was like a whole mile! Not to mention it was windy and cold... It was still fun because we got to just be with each other. At Erik's, there was so much yummy food! There were soo many people that came. It was crazy! The entire school was there supporting him! My friend Tina was in town this weekend too. It was so good to see her! She's like my best friend and I haven't seen her for two months!
Needless to say that I have amazing friends and I'm happy of the wonderful example they set for me!
I'm sitting on my porch right now and I'm beginning to rethink that idea because it is soo cold! It has been raining all day long and this is the coldest weather we've had here in a long time!
If anyone has ever seen "Waiting for Forever" its like the saddest movie of all time. I was thinking it was going to be a cute little romance that would make me feel so happy about life but that was not the case... It was sad, but it was also good in some weird way. I like romance-y things but lately they haven't been very up-lifting! It's a pity too because I always used to think that my life was going to turn out to be some amazing 'Happily Ever After' moment and it's starting to become real to me that the way Disney Princess's live their lives doesn't actually happen... As much as I would like to think, I can't have little forest animals clean my house while we sing a catchy tune or have them frolic with me through large fields of flowers. And the saddest part of all is that my prince won't be coming for me on a beautiful white horse... :( I'm sorry if whoever reads this still thinks it will happen for them one day, but if you want, you can still go on thinking that! Even though it might never happen for me that way, I still love to sing the songs that help me think that it might. 'Someday my prince will come...' 'I'm wishing, for the one I love, to find me, today!' I can't help but sing the songs... They really are catchy! It the movie I just watched, one of the characters said, 'Life isn't a bowl of cherries, everything doesn't turn out just peachy.' I still hope that it does! :)

stumbleupon.com

My friend Ashley recommended to me, last night, a website to look up and stuff. It's called stumbleupon.com. It's pretty awesome! I've found some sweet things on it so far... A guy spray-painting a SPECTACULAR image, some cool pictures of Europe, a website totally devoted to little kids saying what love means  (Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt and he wears it everyday, Noelle age 7), and a music playlist entitled: "Songs to lie on your bed and stare at the ceiling to" and they aren't bad songs!

Man! Is it late!!

Oh boy, I just got off work and it was THE best day of work ever! Those people I work with are so fun. Even though I started out my night with a flat tire that needed some fixing and being called into work because one of the girls was sick, it still turned out wonderful. Now I admit that some of the things I did tonight weren't very spectacular or on the list of things I want to do again... it was still enjoyable. I'll share some stories about what really went down at work today....
#1 I get to work and there is a sign for me saying that for a "weekly" I needed to help Ashley clean the grease-trap. Okay many people don't know what that is so I'll explain. It's a big box that acts as a strainer for everything that goes down the drains of the sinks. I had to teach Ashley how because she's never done it before. We were about done and Cassidy poured water into the sink causing the thing to fill up again so we had to do it twice! Ugh. The whole time doing this, we were both contemplating the importance of oxygen because of the fact that the grease-trap smells absolutely awful! It's not pleasant AT ALL!!!
#2 My second weekly of the night was to put up the clear, plastic things that hold those informational papers that are on the stall in front of you where you are using the restroom. It wouldn't have been as bad if I got to do it in the girls bathroom. That's right, I had to put them up in the BOYS bathroom. I cautiously walk in there and start scrapping the previous sticky stuff off the walls by the urinals... (Those things are sooooo gross!!!) I'm standing in front of one and a man walks into the bathroom. He looks at me and says, "oh sorry, I don't want to interrupt you while you do.... whatever it is your doing in the men's restroom." I just told him sorry and that I was leaving... It was AWKWARD! It kinda continued on  like this for three more times and it took forever! Finally Sara came in to help me and as we were finishing up the last one, some boy walks in and looks at both of us as were leaving the bathroom, he says, "wow, awkward much?" What the heck does that mean?! Well since we were done, I crossed that off of somethings that I only wanted to do one time, EVER!
#3 My third weekly was to drive some cleaning supplies and papers to Fiddlers 6. Driving weekly's are my favorite! You get paid to sit in your car and listen to music! How COOL is that?! Well I'm driving down Main Street and there is a huge semi truck just chillin' on the side of the road with almost the whole front end of the truck is sticking out onto the road, in the EXACT lane I was driving in. Well, obviously I needed to get out of that lane. I would've but a truck was on the other side of me. So I did something extremely scary... I gunned it in the hope that I could make the swerve around the semi without hitting the truck. I did it... BARELY! The truck didn't even slow down to let me get passed the semi so I almost died!! But John, one of the managers, told me that if I were to get injured Westates would have to cover the whole thing...
#4 The last hour and a half I was working, Sara and Ashley were helping me learn many new things... (haha, had to be there for that one). Those two girls are my favorite!
#5 Clarissa and I talked in the parking lot after work for like 30 minutes and it was so great! She's super sweet and it really means a whole lot to me that she trusts me with stuff she tells me. Also we made plans to go to lunch on Tuesday and I'm really excited because we're going to the Thunderbird Cafe which is like the school cafeteria at the college. I haven't ever been inside but I've passed it a million times walking to class and stuff.
Haha. Okay that's all! I'm going to bed... Bye!
