Yay for my own computer!!

Okay, so yesterday I purchased my very own laptop computer! It's wonderful! I can take it to school and be on it whenever I want. I don't have to wait until my other family members get off the home computer :) Oh, college life just keeps bringing good things my way!! I love it... classes are hard but the teachers make it fun! I spend many hours in the tutor center but that's okay because attractive men need tutoring too ;) haha...

The 29th day of August

Oh, I have completed 6 whole days of school! Quite an exciting accomplishment if you ask me. It's so wonderful having my first class of the day be at 11 am. :)

The End.

P.S. President Thomas S. Monson was in Cedar City today!! :)

College!!!

Yesterday was the first day of school. A very exciting time in my life. This semester I'm taking 17 credits, which is a huge load! History 1700, Calculus I, Spanish I, Intro to Photography, University 1000 and 1010, and LM 1010. I only went to the first 4 classes yesterday and I already realized that there will be very little free-time, with work and school and trying to stay social... Oh boy! I really think it shall be a lot of fun, though!
Well, I better go get ready for Day-2 :) Peace out!

Work Stories :)

Haha! Oh boy, today at work was soo funny! I started work at 2 o'clock and Deanna asked me to take tickets while she cleaned the theaters that were getting out. A man came up to me and asked if I needed to see him and his wife's tickets. I said yeah and he said that they told him he didn't need a ticket because he was so handsome... 8l (sure...) Well he ended up handing me his ticket anyway.
Next, a lady purchased a medium Mountain Dew and then took it in the restroom with her and she tried balancing it on something in her stall... that didn't work and the whole drink spilled on the floor... around the toilet. Just so you're not confused, I'll remind that it was Mountain Dew (the same color as pee!) She came out of the restroom and told us. She then said, "Oh my, people are gonna think I went all over the floor! It's bright yellow and seriously looks as if I did..." She was quite worried. Dani went to clean it up and I filled up another one for her and she went into her movie. A few seconds later, a different woman comes out of the bathroom and with the most serious expression on her face, she told me about the 'accident' someone had in the first stall. I had to hold in my giggles and then told her we would take care of it... haha!
Later, Kaley was filling up an extra-large cup with cherry ICEE and turned to put it on the counter and dropped it. It didn't spill everywhere but still... The next customer ordered an extra-large Dr. Pepper and grabbed it by the lid and it dumped all over the counter and the floor. He then tried to blame it on, "the lid wasn't on..." Kaley cleaned it up because the guy just left the mess on the counter, then I mopped the floor...
It was quite the day at work... Lots of spills and it made us laugh all day! :)

Break Time!

For the past 45 minutes, I have been on break... as in from my work. I have to go back to the movie theater at 11:30 pm. It's so wonderful to have an hour and a half break :) But I figured I better hurry and go over today's events because I won't get off work until, like, 1:00 am...
This is a picture of me at my Grandfather's house. My family and I were there for the afternoon. It was so fun! We all just talked, laughed, played the ukulele and ate some food with my cousins, aunt, uncle and grandpa :) While they were chatting, I was taking photos of myself on my cellular, hehe, there are some funny ones. But I liked this one best!

Oh this little poster-thing totally describes my life! I saw it at an antique store and had to buy it! My mother always tells me that I can speak fluent sarcasm... and now I have a sign to warn people. Haha! When my mom saw it she just laughed and said that is exactly me... Oh fun fun!

Well now I must go back to work... Bye!

Families are forever :)

I just got home from a lovely funeral service for my Grandmother Smith. She was such a wonderful lady and I am so happy that I was able to know her and spend time with her. Everyone at the service had really nice things to say about my dear grandmother. I knew there were going to be lots of people at the viewing but I didn't realize there were going to be THAT many people! The line to see her wrapped clear around the building...
It was really good to see all the cousins, too, despite the day's events. It's been awhile since we have gotten together. The Henries are staying at my house as well as my Grandma Barclay :)
Grandma Smith always told me that family is one of the greatest gifts our Father in Heaven has given to us. I'm so blessed to have my family and I'm happy that I will be able to be together forever! :)

Mindless Behavior

I have realized two things today:

  1. It might have been a mistake to set up an account with iTunes because of the fact that I am going to spend all my money on music! Oh well, I suppose. But I do wish it wouldn't cost $1.29 to purchase ONE song... ridiculous!
  2. I love music!! It really does have that calming effect in my life lately. Absolutely wonderful! My life could seriously be a musical because I always have some type of background music playing. Head phones are probably my favorite invention:)
Recently, my favorite songs consist anything written by He is We and Cody Simpson (Cody is a beautiful young man from Australia that also happens to be a swimmer AKA my soul-mate, for sure!) and 'My Girl' by Mindless Behavior, 'Dumb Love' by Sean Kingston, and 'Solo' by Iyaz. :)

Family Home Evening

Tonight, I attended (for the first time) my ward's FHE. I had a blast! We met at Park Discovery and had a little lesson about being who we want to be and setting goals that you can actually follow through on. Then we played Sardines! :) It's a game of Hide and Seek, only opposite. One person hides and everyone searches until they find the person that is hidden and once you do find, you hide with them! The last person to find the hidden person is now "it" and finds someplace to hide so we can find them. Extremely fun! And especially when you play it at Park Discovery... there are a load of places to hide where nobody would find you for days! Haha... good times.
Earlier today I ran into my friend Mason at the music store. I was in search for a new song I could play on the piano and we started talking. I haven't seen too many people from high school even though I still live in town and I graduated in May... Anyway, later, after FHE, Mason asked me if I wanted to go get ice cream. Of course, I did. I love ice cream! So we went to get Frosty's at Wendy's... Oh they were delightful! We sat outside on the tables that are out there. I have never sat on them before so it was a new experience.

Dumb Love

The other evening I was eating dinner and came across this wonderful BBQ chip. It's full of love! Haha. Literally, it has a heart in the center! How awesome is that?! My dad was telling me that people sale things online, I wonder if that includes my glorious find... ? That would be so great if someone would buy this chip from me. I still have it, just in case someone wanted to see it.
I have entitled this post 'Dumb Love' due to the song I'm listening to... Sean Kingston- Dumb Love and I felt it went well :)

Um... Hello!

So this is the very FIRST post by me! I'm glad I finally have someplace I can write about anything my heart desires... haha :)
Tonight, I'm going to the Westates Film Festival. I know what you may be thinking, "What? Tonight? It's already tonight... It's 8:15!" It is perfectly alright that you may think that because the party will begin at 11:30!! I work at the movie theater, here, in the City of Cedar and it's so much fun. All of the people I work with are wonderful! We love to have parties and such. For example, almost all the Westates women went to see the Tauchan production of 'The Little Mermaid'. It was a blast!
So tonight, at this Film Festival, it's totally legit... It's a formal occasion and we're going to be wearing beautiful dresses and be all dolled up :) hmm... not sure how the guys are going to get dolled up but whatever. We are going to be viewing the movies that our very own co-workers have made and/or were part of the cast. I'm so excited and I can't wait to see the movies! I must go now to get ready for this wonderful premier :) Bye-bye now!
